The old dependable DeWalt impact driver has to be the DCF887M2. It’s been since 2015 – when it first came out, it was at the top of the class. Now, it’s more in the middle of the pack among other manufacturers, but it still holds its own. Plus, since it’s been around for that long, it’s much cheaper than the new impact drivers from other companies.
The top of the line impact driver from DeWalt would be their newest model – the DCF888. It has the newest ‘tool connect’ feature and has the same top torque rating as the DCF887.
