What We Do

Are you tired of spending hours researching a product purchase by reading online reviews, looking for the best product price, and then when you finally decide on a product to buy, you realize it’s only available from a USA online retailer?

I’ve had that frustration a few times, and that’s why I decided to start this Canadian product review site.

This site is for you – I want it to be your source for Canada product reviews. I will only talk about products that can be purchased from Canadian retail companies – online, or brick and mortar.

Affiliate Disclosure

Some of the links on this product review site are affiliate links. That means that if you click on that link, and it takes you to a site where you buy a product, we receive a small commission – and it doesn’t cost you anything.

It’s a way for us to earn some money to keep this site going!

We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

What is this?

Some may call it an affiliate site, some might say it’s a digital lifestyle magazine – sure. Call it what you will! My hope is that it’s a helpful resource for Canadians; people looking to buy products in Canada, find product reviews of things available in Canada, and unique experiences and events that are distinctly Canadian.

I welcome you, and invite you to leave some comments if it’s been helpful to you!

About the Founder

Hi, my name is Mike Szostech and I live in the BC, Canada. I used to buy things online, ship them to the USA, and then cross the border to pick them up, but that’s just a hassle. And frankly, with the uncertainty of border lines, the uncertainty of having to pay duty or not (every border agent seems to have a different ‘limit’ they’ll allow you to cross with), and a poor USD to CDN exchange rate, it just isn’t worth it anymore.

That’s when I started looking for a Product Review Canada website. I came across a ton of great review sites (which you’ll notice I often mention and link to throughout the site) – well funded projects with lots of employees, warehouses to review the products, and real boots-on-the-ground research into these products. What I didn’t find, was anything for us Canadians.
