All Ridgid tools come with an industry leading lifetime service agreement. In order to qualify, you need to apply for the program within 90 days of purchasing the tool, or you default to just a 3 year warranty.

To apply for the Ridgid LSA in Canada, go to Register Tools

It’s a bit of a process, especially if you purchase the 5 tool combo pack. You have to enter each tools’ serial number, plus the battery serial numbers, plus the charger serial number. Then, after entering the HomeDepot receipt number, you’ll be greeted with your toolbox page.

The LSA (lifetime service agreement) will display as ‘pending’ until it’s approved by a company representative. If you’d like to save your receipt online instead of in a dusty file folder under your bed, you can upload the receipt to your Ridgid dashboard as well.

since I spend lots of time in the USA traveling, and I’ll be bringing some of these tools along, I asked Ridgid if their LSA covered Canadian tools in Canada, and they said it does. So, should you end up across the border with a tool with issues, they’ll fix it for you!
