Mircosoft Canada has announced a new, smaller, lighter laptop in it’s Surface lineup – called the Surface Go laptop. It’s ultra-portable, has a long battery life, and is priced $500 cheaper than the Macbook Air.

Microsoft announces the laptop in early October, with sales set to start on October 13 – ahead of the busy holiday shopping season.

It’s the smallest full-sized laptop from Microsoft (whatever that means), and it has a 12.4 inch display – the smallest Surface Laptop up to this point was 13.5 inches.

Because of the smaller screen, the battery lasts up to 13 hours. And being ultra-portable, the lightweight laptop only weighs 1.1 kgs, and is only 15.9 mm thick!

The base model of the Surface Go only comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, but for $200 more you can double both numbers – and end up with 8GB of RAM, and 128 GB or storage for less than $1000 CAD.

Compare the Microsoft Surface Go to other lightweight laptops Canada.

Make the most of every day with the sleek style, performance, and all-day battery life you need in our lightest Surface Laptop, all at an exceptional value.

The Surface Pro Go keeps up with you all-day long with up to 13 hours of battery life, and it's easy to carry weighing only 1,110 grams and only 15.7mm thick.

A 10th generation i5 Intel Core processor makes sure you have all the power you need for all your work, shopping, or streaming tasks.
