On May 13th, an announcement was made about a new Amazon Tablet, Canada! The previous generation of Fire 8 tablet was replaced by the Fire 10.
Now, Amazon will be releasing an upgraded version of the Fire 8 tablet in Canada.
Set to go on sale in the USA on June 3rd, 2020, there is no release date specified for Canada, yet. We assume it will shortly after June 3rd.
Original Amazon Fire 8 vs the new Amazon Fire 8 Tablet
The original Fire 8 has 16 or 32 GB of storage space. It uses a 1.3 GHz processor, and has 1.5 GB of RAM. The battery lasts for up to 10 hours.
The new updated Amazon Table Canada Fire 8 HD tablet comes with 32 or 64 GB of storage space, plus the ability to add a microSD card up to 1TB in size! The processor is now a 2.0 GHz processor with 2GB of RAM. To top it all off, the battery life has increased 2 hours up to 12 hours total.
