The original Gaggia Classic (not the Pro) had a plastic ‘panarello’ wand for steaming milk, which was easier to use but just didn’t make really great microfoam. The new professional style stainless steel wand has 2 small holes and does a great job of frothing milk. In addition, the manufacturing was brought back into Italy from Romania.
