A power bank is a portable device that allows users to charge their electronic devices on the go, without the need for a traditional power outlet. It is useful for situations where access to electricity may be limited or unavailable, such as during travel or outdoor activities. It can also be useful for emergency situations where power is lost or disrupted.

EnergyQC offers a few different sizes of battery charger power banks. The smallest being a round shaped 5000mAh, a wider 10000mAh version (our test product), and an even larger 26800mAh huge portable battery charger!

The power bank box states on it that the product is designed and California, and made in China. We’re interested to see how the lithium-polymer battery pack performs. It’s supposed to be safer than lithium-ion, and even last longer as far as the number of charge cycles it can withstand.

Every product sold in the store is carefully designed, produced, packaged and transported. Providing customers with satisfactory and timely pre-sales and after-sales services.

Unboxing the Portable Power Bank

Nothing special here, just open the box and you’re ready to go! Use the included USB cable to plug in and charge the power bank, and then flip the cable end for end, plug it into the power output port, and you’re ready to charge something.

The portable phone charger came about half charged, and after being plugged in over night it was fully charged and ready to use.

This is a great little power bank charger

While this doesn’t have any fast charge capabilities, overall it’s a very capable battery charger. With the 4 blue LED indicator lights, it’s easy to see how the battery pack is doing. Some other companies have a digital percentage gauge, but this does the job and it seems simpler.

We like the smooth rounded corners on the power bank, it easily slips in and out of our bags or our pocket. And it wouldn’t have any sharp points to jab you if you were using it to power a USB heated vest or other piece of clothing.

How to choose the best portable phone charger

  1. Determine your charging needs – Consider how many devices you need to charge and how quickly you need them to charge. This will help you determine the type and size of portable charger you need.
  2. Consider the charging speed – Look for a charger with a high mAh (milliamp-hour) rating, as this indicates the capacity of the battery and how quickly it can charge your devices.
  3. Check the output ports – Make sure the charger has enough output ports to charge all of your devices at the same time. Also, consider the type of ports (e.g. USB-C, micro-USB) to ensure compatibility with your devices.
  4. Look for additional features – Consider additional features such as LED indicators, built-in cables, and dust and water resistance for added convenience and protection.
  5. Read reviews and compare prices – Research and compare different portable chargers to find the best option that meets your needs and budget. Don’t forget to read customer reviews to see how well the charger performs and if it has any potential issues.
The built-in power gauge is a great way to quickly see how much power is left in the portable battery pack

Important things to keep in mind when using a portable power bank

  1. Always check the battery level of the power bank before using it, to ensure that it has enough charge to power your device.
  2. Keep the power bank away from extreme temperatures, moisture, and direct sunlight to avoid damaging the battery.
  3. Use the correct charging cable for your device, as using an incorrect cable can damage both the power bank and your device.
  4. Avoid overcharging the power bank, as this can decrease its lifespan and potentially cause a fire hazard.
  5. Dispose of the power bank properly when it reaches the end of its lifespan, as it contains lithium-ion batteries that can be dangerous if not handled properly.
